With more than 700 assistants the XIX Argentine Congress of Hepatology was a great success

With great success was completed the XIX Argentine Congress of Hepatology, held from Wednesday, June 28th to Friday, June 30th, at Hotel Panamericano, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The President of the Congress was Dr. Marcelo Silva, Second Vice-President of ALEH.

More than 700 people gathered in these three days of Congress and on Friday, ALEH had their Symposium where topics as NASH and Hepatocarcinoma were discussed. Representing ALEH was its President, Dr. Fernando Contreras, who gave a lecture on ALEH: Metamorphosis and future of ALEH (SEE CONFERENCE), also participated in this activity, Dr. Andrés Cárdenas, member of the Permanent Council (ALEH International Relations), who spoke about acute variceal hemorrhage.

ALEH was participating at the Commercial Exhibition for the second year in a row. In this opportunity we had the chance to inform the attendees about Benefits of ALEH, the 2018 Congress and the new ALEH Fellowships (See fellowships)
