En el paper adjunto (publicado el jueves 01 de marzo, en la revista Eurosurveillance, factor de impacto 7,2) se muestran las caracter\u00edsticas de este brote y adicionalmente se hace un an\u00e1lisis filogen\u00e9tico de las cepas que afectan a nuestros pacientes, encontr\u00e1ndose que corresponden a una de las tres cepas que afectan al brote de hepatitis A en Europa.<br \/>\nEl Dr. Alejandro Soza, nos env\u00eda esta importante infromaci\u00f3n e indica \u201cMe parece relevante dar a conocer esta situaci\u00f3n entre los hepat\u00f3logos latinoamericanos, ya que informalmente he tenido conocimiento de que en otros pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se est\u00e1 viendo un n\u00famero aumentado de casos en esta poblaci\u00f3n, y el mecanismo de transmisi\u00f3n sexual de esta enfermedad no siempre es reconocido\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/alehlatam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/HAV-in-MSM-Chile2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ver el art\u00edculo completo<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Existe un brote de hepatitis A que ha ocurrido (y que persiste) en Chile, que est\u00e1 afectando a predominante a adultos j\u00f3venes, la mayor\u00eda hombres que tiene sexo con hombres.
