Mission
ALEH is a non-profit scientific society, wich has the primary objective of promoting and disseminating hepatology in Latin America, through smooth exchange of knowledge, experiences and developments with specialist in the area local and international institutions and the community in general.
Vision
To achieve a position of solid leadership in the specialty at the local, Latin American and international levels, through its different academic and informative activities.
Goals
To link the professionals from Societies, Associations, Sections, Chapters and Clubs of Hepatology of the different countries and to serve as a link with other international Hepatology Associations.
To stimulate the development of research and teaching in the field of hepatology and related areas in the member countries.
To contribute to the continuing medical education, prevention and treatment of liver diseases in the region.
To contribute to the education and dissemination of knowledge of liver diseases within the general population of the region.
