The main purpose of the MAFLD Interest Group is to provide a space to foster collaboration around the disease among interested health professionals. The scope of this collaboration is broad and includes the development of consensus documents, guidelines, collaborative studies, and others. In addition, the Interest Group shall ensure the dissemination of scientific information and the state of the art regarding the pathogenesis, diagnosis, natural history, and development of therapies for MAFLD, thereby supporting the educational mission of ALEH.
